It always needs, I thought, balance, a counterweight to some of the artworks. But that's not always something I think of from the beginning. For Krupke, at some point it crossed my mind what sometimes people got hit in the face with, what was popular with thugs and skinheads in the 1990s: the baseball bat, misappropriated. So it's piled up here too, colorfully sprayed as in the youth club. You know, as graffiti is often understood as a synonym for youth culture - just as skateboarding is in advertisements from a bank or insurance company. As with Krupke, the title is taken from music, in this case from Metallica
