Krupke – the bludgeon tree – consists of wedged "riot sticks". Standing on one club, different instruments of physical domination pile up. They all seem to be ready to move at any time just in order to transform the moment of still perseverance into dissonant acts of violence! Krupke is also the name of the police officer in Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story.
